WELCOME TO THE ROCK.

Your place to hang.

The ROCK Youth center would like to welcome you and your child to our facility. To ensure that your child gets the most out of our programs, we would like for you to take a moment, along with your child, to briefly read over some of our facility and program rules, regulations and code of conduct. These guidelines are designed to inform parents/guardians and participants of the ROCK Youth Center what is expected of them while they are at the Youth Center.

Vision: “To create a safe, structured alternative for the youth of Kingsley to develop their physical, emotional, social, spiritual and cognitive abilities without being pressured by negative influences.”

DID YOU KNOW?

Juvenile arrests have been shown to decrease by 75% when young people participate in an after school skills development program.

Over 85% of children in the U.S. live in households where there is no parent at home during out of school hours.

Children who spend 1-4 hours a week in extracurricular activities are less likely to use drugs and become teen parents than children who spent no time in extracurricular activities.

Children with the opportunity to make social connections during after-school hours are better adjusted and happier than those who do not.

REMINDER FOR ALL…

The ROCK Youth center holds their Board Meetings at 6:30 PM on the first Thursday of every month at the ROCK.  The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.  Hope to see you there!
